What is the difference between regular and heavy use?

A Regular Use subscription is meant for non-commercial usage only. Furthermore, members who have a regular use subscription are only allowed to ride up to 1.000 km per month

A Heavy Use subscription on the other hand is allowed to be used for non-commercial and commercial usage. Members have no maximum mileage to their subscription.

What happens if a member exceeds the maximum mileage set for the Regular Use subscription or uses it commercially?

In case a member exceeds the maximum mileage or uses the Swapfiets micro-mobility product commercially, Swapfiets will retroactively charge the member for the amount of the Heavy Use subscription. Furthermore, Swapfiets is allowed to terminate the subscription and/or charge the member an unfairness fee which may not exceed over €500,00 (incl. administration fees).
